Frequently Asked Questions

What payment options do you accept?

We accept most major credit cards, including MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, and debit cards.  Payments are processed through our merchant account provider, 2Checkout.com.

How much is shipping?

We are proud to offer free shipping for orders within the United States.

For international orders, shipping is $15.00 for 2-pair orders.  Please contact us for discounts on multi-pair orders.

How long does it take to ship my Halos?

Most orders are shipped via United States Postal Service, and will ship within 48 hours from the time we receive your order (slightly longer for weekends and holidays).  We also provide rush delivery upon request; please contact us for current rates.

Do Halos include a guarantee?

All Halos sunglasses come with a 30-day money back guarantee. If for any reason you don’t like your Halos, please return them for a full refund of your purchase price, less $3.50 for shipping charges.

How do I care for my Halos?

For most effective cleaning, use the included Halos microfiber cleaning cloth. A liquid lens cleaner is recommended. If unavailable, warm soapy water and a soft cloth, like an old, clean, t-shirt will work just fine.  Please avoid using paper products such as paper towels and tissues, as particles may scratch the lens.  Never use a shirt or tie to clean lenses.

Can I order my Halos with a prescription?

Unfortunately, we do not offer Halos with personal optical prescriptions.  However, if you would like to have your prescription fitted to your Halos frames, please consult your eye care professional to see if your specific prescription is compatible with the Halos frame.

What are the benefits of having a polycarbonate lens?

Polycarbonate lenses are both impact and shatter resistant, and are the lightest optical lens material available. All standard safety lenses are made with polycarbonate, which blocks 100% of dangerous UVA and UVB radiation.

What is polarization?

Polarization is lens technology at its best.  A polarized lens eliminates reflected glare that comes off surfaces such as water, ice, snow, and highways.  A non-polarized lens simply dims or alters light entering the eye, whereas polarized lenses actually remove reflected light from the visual spectrum.  Polarization provides the most visually "soothing" view currently attainable through optical lenses.
